Where we lead: detection intelligence, split-band granularity, provable transparency, and feature breadth. Where we match: high-end preservation. Pro-DS’s longer look-ahead is a marginal gain we do not need, since 5 ms already catches the onsets; and linear-phase is a tradeoff that adds latency and pre-ringing, so we deliberately stay minimum-phase: low-latency and transient-honest.
