Your data, plainly.
We collect as little as we can, use it only for what you asked, and never sell it. Here is exactly what that means.
What we collect
Your email address, when you join the list, start a trial, create an account, or buy a licence. Your licence and purchase records. And basic, aggregate analytics about how the site is used. We do not ask for your name, and we never sell your data.
Why we use it
To send you the release news you asked for, to run your account and licences, to process payments, and to understand which pages help so we can improve them.
Who processes it
A short list of trusted providers, each handling only what its job needs: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Google Analytics (aggregate usage), and Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage, in secure, access-controlled infrastructure).
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read. Analytics stays off until you accept it on the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode); decline and no analytics cookies are set. Either way it never tracks you across other sites, and ad personalisation and Google’s interest-cohort signal are switched off. We run no advertising trackers.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email in one click. You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the data we hold about you at any time, by emailing connect@humanengine.co.
Keeping it safe
Data is encrypted in transit. Secrets and keys live in access-controlled secure storage, never in code. Sign-in tokens are short-lived and single-purpose.
Retention
We keep your details while your account or list membership is active, and keep purchase records as long as we are required to for tax and warranty. Ask us to delete the rest any time.
